Almost five years ago a group of committed Northwest Indiana business and community leaders developed a branding campaign targeted to Illinois residents touting the benefits of a move to the great state of Indiana.  “The Grass is Greener on the Other Side” campaign targeted messaging to those in Illinois that directed them to movetoindiana.com.  The positive results from the campaign reinforces the need for consistent and ongoing messaging to the Illinois businesses and residents. 

The “Grass is Greener” campaign gained national recognition, but that was not the ultimate goal.  The goal from the start was to bring awareness to the quality of life in NWI, and drive Illinois residents to seek out this Region as their new home.
