Bring your family, friends, and a picnic set, and enjoy a free summer of concerts at Lake Hills Park! All shows will be held on Saturday evenings at the Lake Hills Park Amphitheater located at 8640 Lake Hills Drive. Listed below is the schedule.

Fishing Derby

Our community will hold its 16th annual fishing derby on September 24, 2022, from 8:00 to 11:00 AM at Prairie West Park. Prizes will be given to those who catch the longest fish, the shortest fish, and more. This event is open for kids ages 3-15 and is completely free. No need for a fishing license because September 25 is one of the DNR’s Free Fishing Days. This is catch-and-release event only. Come join us!

Farmer’s Market

Our town’s Parks & Recreation department invites vendors and shoppers to enjoy our Famers Market at the Community Hospital Outpatient Center at 9660 Wicker Avenue. This will take place every Sunday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, from May 7, 2023, to October 29, 2023.

Freedom Fest

Celebrate our nation’s birth and independence with our community’s Freedom Fest on July 3, 2023! The event will kick off at Heartland Park with a 5-kilometer race at 2:00 PM and a 1-mile color run at 2:45 PM. At 3:00 PM, enjoy some live music, beer, food, and games for the rest of the day until the fest’s conclusion at night with a beautiful fireworks display.
